Suggestion of management options to maritime states of Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, and Union Territory of Pondicherry for sustaining and enhancing the resources;
Tagging and recovery studies on tunas
Assessing the impact of climate change on marine fisheries;
Conduct of aquarium research and maintenance of public marine aquarium; and
Participation in consultancy and extension programmes
